P3 Conference: Projects, Pedagogy, and Play

Date:
May 9, 2024
Time:
Location:
Northwest Passage, MN
Cost:

Projects, Pedagogy and Play is based on the idea of bringing together educators AND students from across the academic spectrum— including district schools, public charter schools, private schools and higher education— in a non-formal setting to share ideas, best practices and the common goal of putting student learning first. Educators and students are asked to share projects they were working on, pedagogical models that support student centered learning, and ground it all in the understanding that playful learning often produces the best results. THURSDAY (OPTIONAL): Tour two innovative schools in and around the Twin Cities, then join us for a dinner screening of documentary 'Cure for the Common Classroom'. FRIDAY (ACTUAL CONFERENCE): Hosted at the unique and innovative Northwest Passage High School campus (Coon Rapids, MN), the event is a collaboration of NWPHS, Terra Nova, Avalon School, and Headrush Learning. To ensure a comfortable setting, this event is capped at 150 attendees.
