Our Work: For centuries, the lights of learner-centered education have flickered on and off in pockets across the country.
The work of Education Reimagined is to elevate, connect, accelerate, and ignite these pockets to catalyze nationwide transformation of the education system. We advance this work through storytelling, building national learning communities, and creating opportunities for young people, educators, and organizations to collectively advance their work. We are guided by "A Transformational Vision for Education in the US."
This vision for learner-centered education lays out a future in which learners are no longer asked to adapt to a standardized, one-size-fits-all education system; rather, they are recognized and valued as whole human beings and supported to be confident, empowered learners, leaders, and contributors to their families, communities, and society. In this future, the education system is designed to create the opportunity for young people to find a sense of purpose that exists at the intersection of their gifts and talents and <p>what the world needs.
